1. Overview

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of www.thegraduateschamber.site ("Site") and participation in events, sessions, and services provided by The Graduates Chamber ("we," "us," "our"). By accessing the Site, registering for events, or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Eligibility

You confirm that you are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement. If you are participating on behalf of a minor, you assume full responsibility for their participation and agree to supervise them appropriately.

3. Event Participation


3.1 Nature of Services
Our events are spiritual wellness and educational experiences, not medical or psychological treatment. Please review our Healing Disclaimer and Session Disclaimer before participating.

3.2 Recording & Consent
Sessions may be recorded and shared as replays with registered participants. By attending, you consent to being part of a recorded session. You may keep your camera off to maintain visual privacy, though audio may still be captured if your microphone is on.

3.3 Conduct
You agree to:

  • Be respectful of facilitators and other participants

  • Not disrupt, harass, or harm others during events

  • Keep confidential any personal information shared by others

  • Honor the sacred nature of the healing space

We reserve the right to remove any participant who violates these standards without refund or explanation.

4. Donations & Payments

4.1 By-Donation Model
Our events operate on a by-donation basis. Attendance is free; donations are voluntary and greatly appreciated.

4.2 Processing
Donations are processed through Ko-fi or PayPal. By donating, you agree to their respective terms of service.

4.3 No Refunds
All donations are final and non-refundable. Donations are considered gifts in support of our work, not payment for services rendered.

4.4 No Guarantee
Donations do not guarantee specific outcomes, individual attention, or ongoing support beyond what is offered in the group session.

5. Accounts & Communications

5.1 Information Accuracy
You agree to provide accurate and current contact information (name, email) when registering.

5.2 Email Consent
By registering, you consent to receive event-related emails including:

  • Registration confirmation

  • Zoom link and access details

  • Pre-session guides and preparation materials

  • Post-session integration resources and replay access

  • Occasional updates about future offerings

5.3 Unsubscribe
You may unsubscribe from non-essential communications at any time via the unsubscribe link in our emails. Event-critical communications (Zoom links, replay access) cannot be opted out of if you remain registered.

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Ownership
All content on this Site and in our sessions—including but not limited to text, images, videos, audio recordings, logos, guides, and session materials—are owned by The Graduates Chamber and/or our individual facilitators and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

6.2 Personal Use Only
You may access session recordings and materials for your personal, non-commercial use only. You may not:

  • Copy, reproduce, or distribute our materials without written permission

  • Create derivative works based on our content

  • Share replay links with non-registrants

  • Use our materials for commercial purposes or to train others

  • Record, screenshot, or capture sessions beyond the official replay provided

6.3 Enforcement
Violation of these intellectual property terms may result in immediate termination of access and potential legal action.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

  • Use the Site or services for any unlawful purpose

  • Introduce viruses, malware, or harmful code

  • Scrape, data-mine, or harvest information from the Site

  • Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation

  • Spam, harass, threaten, or harm other users

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems

  • Use the services to provide competing healing sessions or courses without permission

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access for any violation of these terms.

8. Third-Party Services

Our Site may contain links to third-party websites or services (Ko-fi, PayPal, Zoom, etc.). We are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or terms of service. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and subject to their terms.

9. Disclaimers

9.1 "As Is" Services
Our services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

9.2 No Professional Advice
We do not provide medical, psychological, psychiatric, legal, or financial advice. Our services are spiritual wellness experiences. See our Healing Disclaimer for full details.

9.3 Technical Issues
We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure access. Technical difficulties (Zoom outages, internet issues, etc.) may occur. We are not liable for technology failures beyond our control.

9.4 Results
We make no guarantees about outcomes, healing results, or specific experiences. Individual results vary widely and are influenced by factors outside our control.

10. Limitation of Liability

10.1 Indirect Damages
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising from your use of our services.

10.2 Maximum Liability
Our total liability for any claim related to the services is limited to the greater of:

  • €50 (fifty euros), or

  • The total amount you paid to us (if any) in the 12 months preceding the claim

10.3 Exceptions
Some jurisdictions do not allow limitation of liability for personal injury or certain consumer rights, so these limitations may not apply to you.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless The Graduates Chamber, its facilitators, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:

  • Your violation of these Terms

  • Your misuse of the Site or services

  • Your violation of any third-party rights

  • Any content you submit or share

13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

13.1 Applicable Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Portugal.

13.2 Jurisdiction
The courts of Funchal, Madeira, Portugal shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising from these Terms, subject to any mandatory consumer protection laws that may apply in your jurisdiction.

13.3 Informal Resolution

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

15. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Healing Disclaimer, and Session Disclaimer, constitute the entire agreement between you and The Graduates Chamber regarding use of our services.

16. No Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.

17. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the Site with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.

18. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to our services at any time, with or without cause or notice, including for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the services will immediately cease.
